Worcester fans have been boosted despite their side’s early exit from the play-offs, with the news that Sherrad Prezzie-Blue and Carlos Fernandez will both don a Wolves vest next season.

Prezzie-Blue, 25, previously played in the BBL for Worthing Thunder, while Spanish forward Fernandez was in his rookie season.

Both players made their Worcester debuts against Guildford in October, and were an important part in the Wolves’ side that finished in a best ever third place in the BBL table.

Prezzie-Blue averaged an impressive 37.4 minutes per game in 36 appearances for the Wolves, in which he also landed 616 points at 17.1 PPG and a free throw percentage of 82.7%.

Fernandez managed 35 appearances himself, having joined last summer from Spanish side Leon.
