Worcester pair make Team of the Week

There are four fresh faces in the BBL Team of the Week, including Worcester pair Richie Gordon and Sherrard Prezzie-Blue.

Worcester continued their impressive recent run with back-to-back wins over Mersey Tigers and Durham Wildcats at the weekend.

Prezzie-Blue landed 23 points in the cup quarter-final in Liverpool to secure his place in the team, although he is no stranger to the line-up having made a number of appearances while playing for former club Worthing Thunder.

Gordon has been a key element of the Wolves strong start, and he came up with a double-double of 27 points and 15 rebounds against the Tigers.

Glasgow’s Mychal Green makes the team following their impressive win over Sheffield Sharks, while the remaining two representatives come from Leicester Riders.

Jamell Anderson helped the Riders to the cup semi-finals, defeating Cheshire Jets, to make his season debut in team of the week, and he is joined by Ayron Hardy, who has already claimed a Player of the Month award this season.
