Durham Wildcats have confirmed that all of their BBL home fixtures will be taking place on a Sunday afternoons.
The management team made the decision to change the day of the home fixtures in order to provide the club with the best opportunity to attract large audiences at the Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre
. Saturday nights clashed with a large variery of events including two of the most popular programmes on television.
In addition it was felt that as the Wildcats aim to attract a family audience, an afternoon tip-off (typically 4pm) was more conducive to attracting young families to the matches.
