Vote now to send the BBL Babes to the Olympics

The BBL Babes are looking for votes ahead of today’s closing date to choose the cheerleading team for GB for the Olympic Games.

The BBL Babes are looking for votes ahead of today’s closing date to choose the cheerleading team for GB for the Olympic Games.

They have been shortlisted alongside four other groups for the chance to represent their country at the games, which start later this month.

Danielle Endacott, coach of the BBL Babes, said: “The opportunity to perform at the Olympics would be a once in a life time experience and mean so much to all us girls who have worked so hard to get to where we are today – The Official Dancers for The British Basketball League. We are already thrilled to have been shortlisted to the final five out of all the British squads that entered the competition.”

The Plymouth-based group is made up of 21 female dancers aged between 16 and 21.

Danielle added: “Our motives for entering the competition were purely to take part in supporting Great Britain and cheering on our Country, as well as getting the South west involved in such an momentous event. We saw the competition posted on Facebook and immediately got together to produce a video we feel best represents our energy and ability.”
