Thomson finished with 29 points in Sunday’s win at Cheshire Jets, and he is joined in the selection by Darius Defoe, who makes the team for the third time this season.

There’s a rare appearance for a Mersey Tigers player in the selection, with Sam Cricelli impressing with a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds in Sunday’s win at Durham Wildcats, which will be shown as-live on SKY Sports on Tuesday evening.

Mychal Green returns to the line-up for the first time in 10 weeks, after he helped Glasgow to two crucial wins at Leicester and MK Lions to consolidate their play-off spot, landing 26 points in the win over the Lions.

Completing the team is Sheffield’s Jimmy Langhurst, who posted the best performance of the weekend, scoring 34 points and 10 rebounds in the win over MK.
