Tayo Ogedengbe is the first Guildford player to appear in the BBL Team of the Week, after helping the Heat to an overtime victory over Cheshire Jets at the weekend.
After 14 weeks without a representative in the team, Tayo makes it thanks to a 32 point haul in Sunday’s win.
The BBL Cup finalists Newcastle and Plymouth have three players in the team between them, after enjoying winning weekends. Paul Gause and Darius Defoe helped the Eagles to a brace of victories over Glasgow and Milton Keynes, while Lehmon Colbert helped Plymouth to a big win over Mersey Tigers.
Former Tigers star Nate Reinking completes the selection, after accumulating 25 points in a win over Cheshire, to secure his second Team of the Week appearance of the season.
