Glasgow Rocks player coach Sterling Davis will be looking to improve his side this season after seeing them slide down the rankings to a disappointing sixth place finish.
Rocks fans will be delighted at the news that star player EJ Harrison signed a new contract over the summer.
Harrison has played in the UK since 1999 and has become one of the most prolific players in the BBL. Coach Davis will look to him for support off the court as well as his own individual on court contribution. His numbers last season were impressive averaging 15 points and 3 assists per game.
Joining Harrison on court will be some homegrown Scottish talent with Gareth Murray returning from his spell at the Jets and Scottish star Point Guard Jonny Bunyan after spanning three years in the local Scottish leagues with the Fury team from Falkirk.
Harrisons starting back court partner looks likely to be new signing Mychal Green. Green has spent the last 2 seasons playing in Germany’s pro B league shooting at a 40 perent success rate in all areas and last season averaged 17 points per game.
There were some exciting new additions added after successful trial applicants were drafted into the squad and coach Davis likes the shape of his squad.
