Leicester rookie Ayron Hardy has completed a dream first month as a professional by being named Molten BBL Player of the Month for October.
Hardy has starred as the Riders have overcome an early season defeat to MK Lions to rack up three straight wins, all in convincing fashion against London Leopards, Cheshire Jets and the Lions.
Hardy played five games during the month and in just over 34 minutes of action per game, averaged 18.2 points. Looking behind the headline number, it gets even more impressive with the player showcasing his terrific finishing ability at the hoop.
He shot an excellent 67.86% inside the arc during the month and is also doing the hard work on the glass with 9 rebounds per game to claim a near double-double across October.
The Jacksonville University graduate was also named in the BBL Team of the Week earlier today.
