Raiders reveal new logo and website

Plymouth Raiders have revealed a new logo (pictured) and website ahead of the 2012/13 season.

The Raiders have used the current logo for the past 15 years, and chairman Bob Widdecombe said it was time for a change and modernise the logo.

He said: “We worked with local company Real Fusion who presented us with a few different options, and this is the one that we decided to go with.

“We’re delighted with it, and everyone that we have spoken to has also been pleased. We’ve had some great feedback from sponsors and I’m sure fans are going to love it.”

The Raiders’ new website can also be seen at www.plymouthraiders.com. Widdecombe said the change came about to make searching for information on the Raiders easier, and for fans to purchse tickets online.

He said: “We’re absolutely delighted with the outcome. It will engage fans more than ever before. It allows us to showcase our sponsors more, and provide fans with photos, features, video, and we’ll have blogs on the site written by some of the members of the team and our new academy.

“It is vital that we promote the ability to purchase tickets online with the new ticket booking procedures brought in by the Pavilions this season, and fans will be pleased to note that they can book their tickets direct from our website.”
