Paul Williams makes Japan move

Plymouth centre Paul Williams has signed for Japanese Club Takamatsu Five Arrows.

Plymouth centre Paul Williams has signed for Japanese Club Takamatsu Five Arrows.

Williams, 29, had been offered a new one-year deal to remain with the Raiders, but the south coast club have been unable to compete with the financial package on offer from the Far East.

Five Arrows play in Japan’s division two, and won just two of their 52 games last season, sparking a major overhaul to their roster.

Williams previously played for Sheffield in the BBL.
