Two of the BBL’s most consistent performers are within touching distance of 1000 championship points ahead of the weekend’s games.

Two of the BBL’s most consistent performers are within touching distance of 1000 championship points ahead of the weekend’s games.

Cheshire Jets veteran Colin O’Reilly is in his third season in the BBL, and is just 12 points off the milestone, having scored 130 points in nine appearances so far this term.

The 34-year-old Irishman appeared in two finals with the Jets in 2010.

His former team mate, Jeremy Bell, is within 44 points of four figures in the Championship.

Bell, 29, left the Jets at the last season as the league MVP, but had to wait until after the season’s start before landing a deal with Plymouth Raiders.

He has notched up 197 points at an average of 19.7 PPG for the Raiders, helping them reach the BBL Cup Final.
