Cheshire Jets joined Guildford Heat in 8th spot in the BBL Championship after notching their second Championship win in as many games defeating the MK Lions 85-76.
Jets Bill Cole scored five points as the his side netted the final nine points of the first quarter to lead 19-15. His side continued the trend of finishing each quarter strongly, rattling off 7 of the last first half points to take a 42-30 lead at half time.
Jets continued to gradually extend their lead in the third quarter. However, their progress was pegged back as MK Lions finished the quarter stronger with a 8-2 run clawing it back to 61-50.
Adam Brown orchestrated the crucial burst for the Jets, scoring 5 of 7 unanswered points which put the game beyond Lions reach at 72-54 with just over 6 minutes remaining.
It was Brown who posted the stats of the night with 31 points & 10 rebounds. the League’s leading scorer, Demarius Bolds managed 21 (& 10 rebounds) to lead the Lions.
