Leicester’s veteran power forward Robert Youngblood is just two rebounds away from a remarkable career milestone of 3000 total rebounds in the BBL.

Youngblood, 42, made his BBL debut some 17 years ago for the London Leopards against Hemel Royals in October 1994.

He spent a total of nine seasons in London with the Leopards and Towers, with one season at Leicester sandwiched in the middle, before moving on to play seven seasons for Milton Keynes.

At the start of 2010/11, he left the Lions after one appearance to return to the Riders, where he picked up 110 rebounds and 183 points in 25 appearances.

The Riders face Guildford on Saturday, giving Youngblood the opportunity to hit the rebound milestone. He is also 141 points off hitting a career milestone of 6000 points in the BBL.
