Leicester’s Drew Sullivan has apologised after breaching the BBL Code of Conduct in the recent win over Guildford Heat.

The Great Britain captain, 31, was charged for comments made to match officials following the 77-75 victory on November 5th.

His punishment will be to receive three penalty points which, if allowed to accumulate to ten penalty points over the season would result in a one game suspension.

Sullivan tweeted: “I’d like to apologise to the officials that were doing our game to. What I said was out of frustration and not malice.”
