Ralph Bucci becomes the first ever Durham Wildcats player to appear in the BBL Team of the Week, following their victory over Cheshire Jets at the weekend.

Bucci landed 19 points as the Wildcats opened up their Championship campaign with their first ever win in the BBL, and he is joined by a man from the losing team in that game – Matt Schneck.

He was the Jets’ stand out player in the defeat to the Wildcats, landing 25 points and claiming 16 rebounds, and just 24 hours later he was imposing in a win over Glasgow Rocks, picking up 26 points and 15 rebounds in that game.

Newcastle’s player coach Fab Flournoy gets a spot in the team after helping the Eagles go 4-0 in the league so far this season, while there is also a place for MK Lions’ Demarius Bold, not for the first this season.

The team is made up by Cameron Rundles of the Leicester Riders – he landed a dramatic late basket to help see off the Guildford Heat, finishing that game with 30 points.

Team: Demarius Bolds (MK Lions), Ralph Bucci (Durham), Fab Flournoy (Newcastle), Matt Schneck (Cheshire), Cameron Rundles (Leicester)

Bench: Andrew Bridge (Newcastle), Jeremy Bell (Plymouth), Nate Reinking (Sheffield), Tayo Ogedegebe (Guildford), Colin O’Reilly (Cheshire), Justin Dobbins (Sheffield)
