Brice Fantazia returns to Glasgow

Glasgow have signed guard Brice Fantazia, who previously played for them in the 2010/11 season.

Fantazia, 27, averaged 9.8 points and 2.9 assists per game during his previous stint in Scotland, before moving on to sign for Portuguese side Lusitania Angro Patrimonio Mundial last year.

Rocks Head Coach Sterling Davis said: “Most fans here will be familiar with Brice and what he can bring. He is a hard-nosed guard who will not back down. He spent last season playing for a very good Portuguese side and hopefully will come back with even more experience than when he left.

“He unfortunately dealt with a nagging injury in his debut season in a Rocks jersey, so I’m sure he will be ready to come in and show us a new side of him that he was not able to show before.”

An added bonus for the Rocks is that Fantazia no longer requires a “Certificate of Sponsorship” to play for the franchise, having acquired Portuguese Citizenship.

Standing at 6’4″ tall, Fantazia averaged 2.7 points and 13 minutes per game in an 18-game stint in Portugal last season.
