Sheffield and Newcastle will meet once again after being paired together in the BBL Trophy semi-finals.

The Eagles have got the better of the Sharks twice in the opening weeks of the league season, but Sheffield will now have their chance to gain revenge and fire themselves through to the BBL Trophy Final in the New Year.

With holders Mersey Tigers knocked out of the competition at the group stage, there will be a different name on the trophy in 2012, and in the other tie, MK Lions will face Plymouth Raiders.
