Friday 25th will see 4 BBL Championship games all tip off at 19:30 when Mersey Tigers go up against Durham Wildcats, Newcastle Eagles play UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders, One Health Sharks Sheffield take on Worcester Wolves, while Prestige Homes MK Lions v Glasgow Rocks

Saturday 26th see’s just one game with the Durham Wildcats taking on the UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders.

Here are our weekends Fantasy Picks;

Forward – David Aliu – Mersey Tigers (0-3) take on the Durham Wildcats in what may be their most winnable game so far, David is currently the Tigers highest scoring fantasy player so don’t expect that to change this weekend. In his last game David Aliu finished with 7 points and 13 rebounds on-route to 17 fantasy points.

Forward – Demarius Bolds – I just recently put Bolds at the top of my race to the BBL M.V.P he is averaging a league leading 27.3 p.p.g to go with 4.5 assists and 8.8 rebounds. He currently sits in 2nd in overall points at a cost of 5 starts.

Forward – Lehmon Colbert – Last weekend Lehmon had a 21 point, 6 rebound and 4 assist performance in a win over the MK Lions, he also had a 9 point, 3 rebound and 3 assist game in a 1 point loss to the Wolves, this weekend the Raiders play twice so hopefully double points for the Plymouth forward.

Centre – Justin Dobbins – After a quite spell, Justin exploded last weekend with 45 fantasy points off a 34 point, 7 rebound and 5 assists outing against the Leicester Riders. His Sharks take on the Wolves this weekend looking to end their current losing streak.

Guard – Tommy Freeman – The Sharks take on the Wolves this weekend with the Wolves looking to continue their unbeaten run, for that to happen Tommy Freeman will need to contribute. In his last game Tommy had -4 Fantasy points but should be back to form this weekend.

Guard – Ralph Bucci – The Wildcats play two games this weekend, going up against both the Mersey Tigers Fridays night & then the Plymouth Raiders on the Saturday. Ralph is currently averaging a double-double with 10 rebounds and 15.7 points to go with 5.3 assists.

Guard – Mychal Green – Mychal Green will continue to make appearances in the BBL Fantasy picks thanks to numbers like; 35 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds on route to 44 fantasy points this past weekend. With E.J. Harrison still down look for the scoring spree to continue.

Questionable –

If you don’t agree with our above selections here are 5 more players you should consider this weekend.

Forward – Andrew Thomson – Andrew & the Eagles take on the Plymouth Raiders this weekend, the Eagles sit atop the table with a 5 – 0 record. Andrew is currently averaging 20.6 fantasy points per game; he had an off-week this past weekend however scoring just 7 points to go with 2 rebounds in a win against the Jets.

Forward – Gareth Murray – Gareth contributed an all-around added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists last week for the Glasgow Rocks, with an expected 2 more week’s till the return of E.J. Harrison, everyone is chipping in to hold down the fort.

Centre – Darius Defoe – Finished with 28 fantasy points last weekend contributing 15 points and 16 rebounds in his sides close win over the Cheshire Jets. Darius is currently owned in just 16% of fantasy teams.

Guard – Sherrad Prezzie-Blue – With the Wolves hoping to keep their un-defeated status in the BBL Championship look for Sherrad to do everything he can to continue their current winning streak. Sherrad is currently averaging 17.75 fantasy points per game across 4 games.

Guard – Danny Huffor – As with Mychal Green above, look for Danny to continue to build on his momentum, he has got better each game and is gaining in confidence. This weekend may be his chance to shine.

Drop –

Matthew Schneck – The Jets Centre went down injured in last week’s loss to the Newcastle Eagles, we will inform you when he is likely to return.

Those are our tips for this weekend in BBL Fantasy Basketball, so head on over to http://www.bbl.org.uk/?fantasy,1075 and make any changes necessary, see you next week for the next BBL Fantasy Basketball Weekend Preview.
