BBL Cup quarter-final line-up confirmed

Four teams moved a step nearer to the first piece of silverware in the BBL this season as the BBL Cup quarter-final line-up was confirmed over the weekend.

Leicester produced the performance of the first round with a 102-67 thumping of Milton Keynes Lions on Saturday and they now face a mouth-watering tie away at Cheshire Jets, to be played on Sunday November 13.

Last year’s winners Sheffield will kick off the quarter finals this Friday, as they host Plymouth, who defeated Durham in the Wildcats’ first ever BBL Cup showing.

Worcester’s reward for another win over Guildford is a trip to Mersey Tigers, while Glasgow Rocks eased past Scottish National League side Edinburgh Kings to set up a last eight visit to Newcastle.
